We provide foreign currency solutions that help our customers get more out of their holiday. As a critical part of our business-to-business team, the FX Business Development Manager will engage with new clients. You will act as a trusted advisor to our new clients, working in collaboration with our client facing, dealing, marketing, research and global payment team. This is an exciting opportunity and a brand-new role due to growth within the wholesale business at Travel Money Group. Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to expand the B2B arm of the business and increase trading volumes across multiple client segments
Proactively drive new business growth through client referrals, networking, industry relationships, and participation in workshops/seminars
Attend relevant industry events to generate potential leads and identify new sources of revenue
Collaborate closely with the client facing team to support client acquisition, retention, and increased trading activity
Identify and initiate new revenue opportunities specifically targeted at B2B clients
Establish yourself as a subject matter expert in foreign exchange cash solutions
Continuously challenge the status quo by proposing and developing innovative revenue-generating initiatives
Actively leverages sales process to increase conversion rate, decrease sales cycle, and improve deal win rate
Maintain an accurate client pipeline and funnel with high integrity
Maintain and set goals and metrics, and track progress
Requirements:
Proven track record in B2C/B2B sales and business development
Passionate about sales and delivering the highest possible service to customers
Creative problem solver, professional, honest and a good team player
Proactive, KPI-driven representative, able to manage your client base but driven to source new relationships on your own accord
You are self-motivated and driven to achieve targets
Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and a "service" mindset to support our customers in the demanding, real-time environment of active trading
Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritise when multi-tasking
Commitment to continuous improvement
Experience within a banking or financial services environment
Nice to have:
Experience with FX is ideal, but not a requirement
