The Functional Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting logistics and warehouse systems, focusing on requirements gathering, documentation, and system enhancements. The selected resources will support Distribution, Warehouse, and Logistics business functions and associated enterprise systems. The role includes Level 2 production support as well as participation in multiple logistics and transformation initiatives across warehouse, transportation, automation, and reporting platforms.
Job Responsibility:
Gather and analyze business requirements by working closely with stakeholders and end users through workshops and working sessions
Create and maintain project documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and System Requirement Specifications (SRS)
Act as a liaison between business teams and IT to support system enhancements, upgrades, and new implementations
Document business processes, use cases, and functional specifications
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate testing activities with business users
Design system solutions that meet business needs and align with enterprise IT architecture standards
Develop detailed functional design artifacts including process flows, data models, and system interfaces
Collaborate with system analysts, architects, vendors, and internal development teams to coordinate and deliver technical solutions
Provide Level 2 application support, including incident management, break/fix activities, and production issue resolution
Offer continuous support for deployed systems by identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
Perform various testing activities including Functional, Regression, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing
Develop and execute complex SQL queries and stored procedures
Maintain SQL scripts for test data creation and defect retesting
Monitor system performance and support ongoing maintenance to ensure stable and efficient operations
Conduct training sessions for end users and technical teams on new systems and enhancements
Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and technical documentation to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting Manhattan WMOS (2010 & 2018)
2+ years of experience with Oracle EnterpriseOne (E1) or similar ERP systems
2+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL Server, including stored procedures and triggers
2+ years of experience supporting Pick, Pack, Ship (PPS) processes across Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, Order Management
2+ years of experience with integration technologies such as XML, webMethods, or Oracle Fusion Middleware (OFM)
1+ year of experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or IBM Cognos
1+ years of experience supporting warehouse machine automation systems
Nice to have:
Experience with QAD Precision / TRAX preferred
Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global operations environment
