Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Functional Architect 3DEXPERIENCE to join our E2E Develop Domain based in Marignane, France and Donauworth, Germany. You will be part of OnePLM PSL developing PLM solution. This role supports the “3DExperience solution rollout” team within the One Platform IM team. Our upcoming goals include addressing obsolescence and leading a key company-wide digital transformation. As a Functional Architect, you will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with technical experts (Architects, Developers, Technology Specialists), internal business stakeholders (Simulation, Manufacturing and Engineering, Design, etc.), and the programs utilizing our solutions.
Job Responsibility:
Balance technological opportunities with business (process) requirements
Ensure the overall design, including technical requirements, principles, and models, that guide the design of IT product solutions, aligned with Enterprise Architecture guidelines, in close collaboration with technology specialists
Ensure the integration of solutions across various systems, applications, and platforms to achieve business objectives
Ensure consistency across IT products
Design, integrate, and implement IT solutions from a technical perspective and ensure that technical solutions, procedures, and development models are up-to-date and compliant with standards
Play a visionary role to proactively help define the direction of future IT products and services and validate product designs
Collaborate with other architects, systems analysts, and developers to deliver the highest quality solutions through innovative technologies
Define models, including solution blueprints, to guide decisions related to these solutions
Participate in all phases of the application development lifecycle, including research and design, development, testing, implementation, and support
Help align the architecture strategy with the organization's business objectives and long-term strategic planning for its IT systems
Ensure the technical/functional design of the application and infrastructure components of a new solution based on the defined functional design
Help provide business process expertise to the Lead Solution Architect, change management transformation, functional improvement, and technology enablement for business process redesign, and support architects during projects
Adapt solutions and propose technical approaches in response to business needs
Identify technical gaps in tools in accordance with the functional guidelines defined by the lead solution architects
Coordinate technical maturation phases during business explorations
Submit technical improvement proposals regarding the architecture, both technical and functional
Participate in the technical interface with software/application clients, in collaboration with the Methods & Tools teams
Promote collaborative work and an end-to-end approach to "Out of the Box" PLM solutions
Encourage business co-working between architects
Promote technical co-working on proposed solutions
Strong knowledge of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and its modules
Apply and promote the SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology within projects
Manage incident flow, reporting, and request creation via ServiceNow
Collaborate with development teams to ensure consistency and efficiency in deployments
Maintain effective communication with teams in English
Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
Requirements:
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technology or related field
Strong IT background (Functional & Technical architecture, development)
Comprehensive knowledge of Digital Technologies
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum project management approaches
Advanced level of English and French
Demonstrated learning agility, entrepreneurship, and innovative “out of the box” thinking
Leadership skills with the ability to drive a multidisciplinary team
Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Value-oriented with the ability to assess various approaches and ideas
