Job Description:

A busy professional family in Box Hill South is seeking an experienced, reliable, and nurturing full-time nanny to care for their two young children — a toddler and a baby. This is a long-term position best suited to a mature, career nanny with strong infant experience who enjoys being a steady and supportive presence in a busy household. This role is a mix of childcare and household support, with a strong focus on cooking and keeping the daily rhythm of the home running smoothly. You’ll care for the baby during the day, manage kinder pick-ups for the toddler, and help prepare the family evening meal each day. Days & Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:30 am – 6:00 pm.

Job Responsibility:

  • Full-day care of the baby, including play, naps, feeding, and routines
  • Kinder drop-offs and pick-ups for the toddler
  • Engaging both children in age-appropriate play and activities
  • Preparing the family’s evening meal daily
  • Assisting with lunchbox preparation
  • Tidying the kitchen and play areas throughout the day
  • Light household support and occasional errands
  • Creating a calm, organised environment for the children

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience caring for babies and toddlers as a nanny or in childcare
  • Ideally holds childcare qualifications, or is a highly experienced career nanny
  • Current Working with Children's check
  • Current First Aid
  • Full Drivers Licence – Confident and safe driver with own car (car seats provided)
  • Strong cooking skills
  • Reliable, organised, and able to manage full days independently
  • Mature, calm, and confident personality
