As part of our team, you will work in the technology department as a Software Engineer for our full-stack technology and infrastructure. You will contribute to the further development of HiberHilo®’s robust and scalable back-end infrastructure using cutting-edge cloud technology and our front-end Mission Control dashboard. This is supporting the remote monitoring of our customer’s wells and enabling our operations team to manage the installations all around the globe.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain our codebase, bugfixing, improving performance and refactoring to maintain quality
Share responsibility with the team in maintaining platform operations health and ensure system reliability during office hours
Use DevOps practices to test, automate and deploy within our CI/CD
Work closely with the other back-end developers, front-end developers and product owner to help build end-to-end functionality
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and share knowledge with the rest of the team
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent skillset
3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
Based in The Netherlands
Experience in working with JVM languages (Kotlin preferred or Scala/Java)
Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL)
Experience with GRPC and RESTful APIs
Experience with cloud and containerization (Docker)
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript ES6+ or modern front-end frameworks (Vue.js and Angular)
Self-starter with a proactive attitude
Strong communicator, and good at managing your time
Flexible and dynamic
A collaborative team player with a strong desire to learn
