We are seeking a self‑motivated, responsible, and detail‑oriented Full‑Charge Bookkeeper to join our fast‑growing firm. We provide comprehensive bookkeeping, payroll, and QuickBooks training services to a wide variety of clients, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in a client‑focused, service‑oriented environment.
Job Responsibility:
Perform monthly bookkeeping and account reconciliations for multiple clients
Process payroll for clients with varying schedules
Prepare quarterly payroll tax filings across multiple states
Complete year‑end closing processes for assigned clients
Assist in building tax workpapers for client engagements
Requirements:
Strong understanding of accounting principles (debits/credits, double‑entry accounting, general bookkeeping processes)
Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience
Accounting degree or certificate preferred
Solid understanding of payroll law and willingness to keep up with changing regulations
Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft Excel
Ability to problem‑solve and work independently
Strong attention to detail
ability to verify own work and follow internal controls
Professional communication skills with clients
Ability to collaborate effectively with other staff bookkeepers
Willingness to work overtime during deadline‑driven periods
