Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis for 12 weeks in Stamford, Connecticut. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a non-profit organization through effective financial management and reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Generate invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables to maintain cash flow
Reconcile financial ledgers and bank statements to ensure data integrity
Manage vendor files and maintain proper documentation for audit purposes
Assist in payroll preparation tasks, excluding the actual payroll processing
Support the creation of financial reports and grant-related documentation
Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage and track financial transactions efficiently
Collaborate with team members to address any discrepancies or financial concerns

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper in a detail-oriented environment
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software
Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Ability to generate invoices and manage receivables effectively
Experience in preparing financial reports and supporting grant reporting processes
Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing vendor files
Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within a team
Availability to work onsite in Stamford, Connecticut, for 20-24 hours per week
