Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join a growing organization on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for a well-rounded accounting professional who enjoys owning the full accounting cycle and working closely with leadership. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing day-to-day accounting operations independently.

Job Responsibility:

Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including AP, AR, and general ledger
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Prepare and post journal entries
Process payroll and related tax filings (as needed)
Maintain fixed asset schedules
Assist with month-end and year-end close
Prepare financial statements (P& L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Coordinate with CPA firm for tax preparation and audits
Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies

Requirements:

5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
Strong understanding of GAAP principles
Experience preparing financial statements
Experience with Sage preferred (Sage 100, 300, or Intacct), but not required
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
