We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage financial operations for a dynamic client. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in multi-entity bookkeeping, reporting, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the financial health of the organization.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain accurate financial records for all sales, delivery, and transportation activities
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and account reconciliations across multiple entities
Prepare and submit detailed reports, including state tax filings and excise tax compliance
Reconcile purchases, deliveries, and sales with vendor invoices and customer billing
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and regulatory agencies as needed
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Enterprise) and Microsoft Excel
Experience managing financial operations for multiple entities and high transaction volumes
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and analytical skills
Effective communication skills to collaborate with operations and management teams
Nice to have:
Familiarity with transportation management or fuel dispatch systems is an advantage
Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
