Job Description:

The leading local alternative network for Full Fibre broadband in the South East, where the existing broadband network is. The broadband network has the ability to supply everyone with multi Gigabits with uploads as well as download. A community orientated network operator, whose aim is to significantly upgrade local regions broadband infrastructure, providing local jobs and acting as a vital enabler to grow their digital local economy, thereby creating further quality jobs. This role reports to the Delivery Director. The ideal candidate will undertake their Full Fibre installations in a professional, pleasant and timely manner.

Job Responsibility:

  • Full Fibre installations from the fibre pot into the equipment on premise
  • Fibre blowing
  • Fibre splicing
  • Working at heights (Poles, lifts and ladders)
  • Positive representation of LF to the public and build rapport with customers whilst onsite
  • Provide install progress/whereabouts updates
  • Diagnose Fibre faults
  • Health & Safety compliance

Requirements:

  • External site survey experience
  • NRSWA, Unit 2 StreetWorks Signing, Lighting & Guarding accreditation
  • A team player, highly organised, confident and good communicator
  • Attention to detail and accuracy coupled with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Fibre blowing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Working at heights: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Full Fibre Installation: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Fibre splicing: 1 year (Preferred)

Nice to have:

  • Experience of working in a young dynamic company
  • Experience of undertaking broadband installation (Full Fibre preferred)
  • Experience of fibre blowing and splicing
  • Experience working at heights (Poles, lifts and ladders)
