Job Description:

The Frontend Architect provides expert knowledge to define, design, maintain and evolve the development and implementation of architecture solutions to business cases in alignment with the architecture direction and standards. Performs market agnostic technical planning, architecture development and modifies specifications as well as developing specifications for new products/apps/services and assessing the compatibility and integration of products and services to ensure functionality across interdependent technologies.

Job Responsibility:

Works effectively with colleagues to develop technical stories which are aligned to defined architecture principles and patterns
Assists, advises and executes design, development, and deployment of digital architecture practices, standards, patterns and innovations
Uses best practice knowledge to ensure the holistic solution design of future capabilities and features
Maintains solid relations with the system integrator to ensure the solutions being delivered are aligned with standards
Collaborate with the team to scout new technologies and vendors to enable innovation
Supports with providing strategic input and planning for large infrastructure initiatives/projects
Supports assisting with the creation of Requests for Proposal (RFP) on technical requirements
Uses communication skills on foundational architecture best practices and disruptive technologies
May provide informal guidance to junior staff

Strong set of technical/architecture skills

Skilled in working with both local and remote stakeholders and in multi-national distributed teams
Long-standing professional experience and deep knowledge of architectures relying on web (frontend) technologies & APIs

Proven experience of preparing and presenting technical solutions and high-level designs
Excellent communication skills
Ability to learn and work independently
Very good analytical and problem-solving attitude
Related qualifications and proven experience and track record in digital products, specifically relating to financing and integration with banks/financial services
Technical degree level (BsC or MsC) or equivalent education
