Job Responsibility:
Answer incoming calls and emails, providing prompt and detail oriented assistance
Create service tickets for technicians and route calls as needed
Assist in scheduling service technicians for customer visits and job assignments
Process paperwork for service requests and technician activities
Communicate directly with field staff to support day-to-day operations
Handle customer inquiries with patience, attention to detail, and a focus on resolution
Requirements:
Proven customer service experience
prior call center background is highly desirable
Strong record of reliability and attendance
Solid communication skills and ability to maintain positive relationships, even in a construction-type environment
Ability to remain detail oriented and pleasant with “salty” personalities while facilitating effective teamwork
Comfortable managing a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced setting
Technologically savvy
experience with Microsoft Office or proprietary software (such as Sage 300) is a plus, but not required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in receptionist or front desk roles
Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards
Strong customer service skills, ideally in call center or office environments
Ability to handle inbound calls and address inquiries professionally
Familiarity with basic office equipment and proficient in email correspondence
Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to interact effectively with customers and staff
Nice to have:
Technologically savvy
