The Front Desk Agent role involves providing exceptional guest services by processing check-ins, handling payments, managing guest inquiries, and adhering to company standards. The role is part of The Ritz-Carlton team under Marriott International, focusing on delivering luxury service and upholding the company's Gold Standards.
Job Responsibility:
Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys
process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
process check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges
answer, record, and process guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in
communicate parking procedures to guests
dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed
supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest
run daily reports
identify and manage special requests
complete designated cashier and closing reports
cash guests' checks
count and balance receipts
follow company safety and security policies and procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
no related work experience
no supervisory experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance
ability to speak with others using clear and professional language
