We are seeking a highly skilled Freelance Videographer / Visual Storyteller to support an ongoing production initiative beginning January 2026 for a high-end luxury hospitality brand. This role is focused exclusively on capturing premium, cinematic raw footage (no editing required) in visually rich, on-location environments. The ideal candidate brings a refined aesthetic, strong storytelling instincts, and mastery of composition fundamentals. This is a recurring freelance opportunity that includes international travel to world-class destinations, quarterly shoots, and flexibility in production schedules.
Job Responsibility:
Capture high-quality raw video footage on location for recurring quarterly shoots
Apply elevated visual storytelling techniques aligned with a luxury brand aesthetic
Demonstrate expert use of the Rule of Thirds, symmetry, and on-screen composition
Shoot cinematic b-roll formatted for 16:9 delivery
Adapt to varying production days, ranging from short shoots (2 hours) to full production days (up to 10 hours)
Travel on assignment approximately 10 days per quarter, including international travel abroad (with potential for additional days)
Collaborate closely with creative leadership to ensure footage aligns with brand vision and storytelling standards
Manage, maintain, and operate all personal production equipment on set
Requirements:
5+ years proven experience as a professional Videographer (production-focused
no editing)
Strong portfolio or reel demonstrating cinematic storytelling, composition, symmetry, and framing expertise
Deep understanding of the Rule of Thirds and ability to clearly articulate its application when reviewing work
Experience capturing luxury, lifestyle, or travel-focused b-roll
Ownership of professional-grade equipment, including camera, lighting, microphones, and accessories
Valid passport and ability to travel internationally to shoot on location abroad
Flexibility to accommodate varying shoot lengths and travel schedules
