Job Description:

As Harmonic's Founding Technical Recruiter, you will play a critical role in building and scaling our Engineering, Product, and Design teams. You will identify, engage, and secure top-tier talent across these domains and help fuel our next phase of growth. You will own sourcing strategies, candidate experience, and process design for our open roles, while also building the recruiting infrastructure that will attract exceptional talent to Harmonic for years to come.

Job Responsibility:

  • End-to-End Technical Recruiting: Lead the hiring process for roles across Engineering, Product, and Design
  • Sourcing: Identify and engage top active and passive talent using platforms like Harmonic and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Leverage Gem, LinkedIn and other platforms to execute creative, targeted outreach, track conversion rates, and refine strategies
  • Screening: Screen resumes and conduct initial screenings to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit, efficiently narrowing down the applicant pool for hiring managers
  • Candidate Management: Ensure an exceptional and engaging experience for candidates at every stage of the hiring process. Coordinate scheduling and candidate communications
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making & Process Optimization: Continuously refine and enhance our recruitment processes, leveraging data-driven insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Utilize ATS systems like Greenhouse to track candidates and optimize pipeline efficiency
  • Partner with executives and hiring managers to deeply understand current and future hiring needs
  • Build and maintain nurturing campaigns and recruitment marketing efforts to position Harmonic as an employer of choice for top technical talent

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a proven track record of hiring for senior-level SWE roles in niche and competitive technical talent markets
  • 2+ years of in-house recruiting experience at a high-growth, startup preferred
  • Enjoys sourcing for EPD positions and takes pride in nurturing and building relationships with passive and active talent
  • Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • comfortable moving fast, managing multiple roles, and being accountable for your work
  • Data-focused. You measure pipeline health to balance your priorities and set hiring manager expectations
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (we use Greenhouse) and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Gem
  • High agency mindset - have a bias for action
  • take ownership of projects, navigate and resolve challenges, and drive tasks to completion with minimal guidance
  • Based in NYC with the ability to come in to our our office in Nomad (36 West 25th Street) 4 days per week
