Requirements

Mechatronics: controls, system integration, automation
Programming: C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.
Experience with CAD/CAM/FEA software
Prototyping, to include tools such as mill/lathe, laser cutter, 3D printer, etc
Proficient in operating a CNC mill
Solid foundational knowledge of GMP
Proficient in creating, reviewing, and editing of relevant technical documents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Minimum lifting requirement of 20 lbs.

Job Responsibility

Define, develop, and implement continuous process improvements to existing manufacturing operations
Provide daily direct manufacturing support to troubleshoot and resolve issues and document solutions following GMP
Build products to meet customer demands
Design, build, and implement manufacturing automation machines and processes
Create standardized methods and procedures to improve manufacturing line efficiency–to include internally published work instructions, SOPs, and R&D reports
Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations to improve manufacturing throughput
Identify the root causes of manufacturing related issues and perform corrective and preventive action using established problem solving methods
Prototype and test new tooling, fixtures, methods, automated systems, and production concepts
Maintain detailed records of manufacturing operations
Demonstrate excellent time management skills for on-time delivery of assignments
