Job Description:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and accurate loading and unloading of products within the distribution center, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Responsibility:

Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments using the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Report discrepancies between inventory counts and shipping/receiving documents
Ensure safe loading/off-loading of pallets to prevent damage
Locate and retrieve products and replenish picking locations
Assist in other warehouse roles as needed, acting as backup during absences or vacations

Requirements:

1 year of relevant experience required (in lieu of a High School Diploma or GED)
Ability to obtain a forklift certification
Proficient in reading and interpreting distribution documents
Experience in operating MHE and using an RF scanner
Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
General distribution knowledge
Proficiency in using a PC
Strong initiative and drive for results
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Physical ability to perform tasks as outlined, with or without accommodation
Normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye and sufficient hearing to safely operate MHE in a manufacturing/distribution environment

Nice to have:

Experience with multiple types of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counterbalance (slip and clamp), and Dock Stocker is preferred
