Forklift Mechanic

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on forklifts (propane, electric, and diesel)
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
• Repair or replace defective parts in compliance with safety standards
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure equipment compliance
• Maintain up-to-date maintenance and repair records
• Collaborate with the workshop team to optimize fleet availability and reliability
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards at all times

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in industrial mechanics, heavy vehicle mechanics, or equivalent
• Relevant experience in forklift mechanics or maintenance of similar equipment
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic systems and computerized diagnostics
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
• Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to safety procedures
• Team spirit and willingness to contribute to collective success

Forklift mechanic certification or experience in a transportation/warehousing environment
