Job Description:

The position involves preparing and maintaining IKEA Food menu items, adhering to food safety standards, assisting customers, maintaining cleanliness, and managing food market-related tasks. Candidates should demonstrate prior experience in similar roles and will contribute to an inclusive environment while following IKEA policies.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to the IKEA Food concept
Adhere to food handling, health, and sustainability standards
Respond to customer inquiries to support informed purchases
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain equipment operation
Conduct preventive and cleaning maintenance
Maintain a clean supply of dishes, silverware, and cooking utensils
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas
Oversee merchandising, pricing, and stock rotation in the Swedish Food Market
Ensure accurate price communication across all food solutions
Maintain supply rotation and stocking adhering to sustainability standards
Adhere to safe food handling, workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
Promptly report safety concerns
Contribute to an environment embracing IKEA culture and diversity.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years related experience
Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred
Experience in a high-volume retail environment with knowledge of basic merchandising and selling concepts preferred
Food Handler Certification and/or Food Handler Card (as required by local jurisdiction) required within 30 days of employment.
