Job Description:

Food & Beverage Restaurant Manager responsible for supervising daily restaurant operations, maintaining service and sanitation standards, leading the food and beverage team, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing human resource activities at The Ritz-Carlton Aruba.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise daily restaurant operations
Assist with menu planning
Maintain sanitation standards
Assist servers and hosts during peak meal periods
Manage day-to-day operations ensuring quality standards
Lead food and beverage team
Ensure compliance with all policies and laws
Provide exceptional customer service
Handle guest problems and complaints
Conduct human resource activities including training and development
Oversee financial aspects including purchasing and invoice payment

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area
Understanding of food and beverage policies, standards and procedures
Knowledge of local, state and Federal liquor laws
Food handling and sanitation standards knowledge
Leadership and management skills
Interpersonal and communication skills
Customer service excellence
