Job Description:

Food & Beverage Attendant position at Marriott St. Louis Grand, responsible for complete closing duties, maintaining work areas, ensuring cleanliness, following safety procedures, and providing excellent guest service while supporting team goals in a luxury hospitality environment.

Job Responsibility:

Complete closing duties including storing reusable goods and cleaning equipment
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
Follow company safety and security policies
Report accidents and unsafe conditions
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Speak using clear professional language
Answer telephones with proper etiquette
Develop positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Adhere to quality expectations
Read and visually verify information

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds
Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to move up and down stairs and service ramps
Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, stooping
