Job Description:

IKEA Cardiff are looking to welcome Food and Beverage Assistants to join our delightful and hardworking team. The contracts are for 16 and 20 hours a week. We have opportunities in our front-of-house Customer Restaurant and Swedish Food Market / Bistro. Love food and providing good customer service? As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will be immersed in both. If you thrive in a fast-paced and team-focused environment, this role will allow you to experience our wonderful everyday.

Job Responsibility:

Take payment at tills, clean and clear the restaurant area, and work in our busy dish-room
Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers
Support your colleagues, lend a hand, and foster a positive work environment, contributing to a happy team
Support in merchandising and making the Bistro and Swedish Food Market presentable for our many customers to purchase products

Requirements:

Prior food and customer service experience is a plus, but not required if you are hands-on and willingness to roll up your sleeves
Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment
Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team
Ability to remain organised and detail-orientated, even when things get busy
Due to health and safety regulations, all applicants must be over the age of 18
