Job Description:

Rex Airlines (Regional Express) is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as full time solo flight attendants. Our flight attendants are well known for their warm and genuine inflight service. The role offers a great work/life balance along with a competitive remuneration and includes working on weekends, public holidays, shift work (which includes early starts & late finishes), and some nights spent away from home. It is a rewarding position where every day is different coupled with a great team spirit.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the entire cabin independently
Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight
Provide a caring and personalised service
Manage in-flight services while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations
Perform equipment/security checks
Make in-flight announcements
Provide in-flight food & beverage service
Perform cleaning duties
Handle various situations that may occur in the cabin on your own

Requirements:

Be 18 years of age or over
Have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Be no taller than 173 cm
Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate - completed within the last 3 years
Be able to demonstrate that you have: Completed a minimum 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, or Worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or Worked in the UK, Ireland or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or Completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5.
Be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which involves a police security check
Be passionate about your role and a commitment to delivering exceptional & consistent customer service
Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device (a swim assessment is required)
Be flexible and adaptable
working hours will vary and include working during holiday times and peak periods
Have a high level of personal presentation
Have a natural willingness to please and care for people
