A Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing technical support to the Pediatric Imaging Diagnostic Division through the performance of radiological examinations and appropriate patient care. Diagnostic Radiology is a medical specialty focused on using medical Imaging to diagnose diseases and injuries within the body. It involves portable and stationary X-ray machines as well as X-ray fluoro machines. They are used to create images that Radiologists interpret to identify and assess health conditions.

Requirements:
Registered Radiology Technologist
Associates Degree in Radiology Technology
Must be proficient with all Radiological Equipment – fixed and mobile
Must know how to operate CR and DR equipment
Must know how to use Immobilization devises
Must know how to use and process cassettes
Must be able to correctly use right and left lead Mitchell markers
Must be proficient in using patient related clerical and historical material
