Our client, one of New Jersey’s leading organizations, is implementing Flexera One to modernize their IT Asset Management program across hardware, software, and SaaS. They are seeking a Flexera One Platform & Integration Engineer to support the end‑to‑end deployment of the platform and serve as a technical subject matter expert during the implementation. This role works closely with Flexera Professional Services, internal stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams across IT, Finance, Procurement, and Infrastructure.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and administration of Flexera One (IT Visibility, Technology Intelligence Platform, and related modules)
  • Deploy and manage Flexera inventory beacons, discovery agents, and data connectors across on‑prem, cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), and SaaS environments
  • Design and maintain integrations between Flexera One and systems such as ServiceNow CMDB, cloud APIs, inventory tools, and other data sources
  • Configure normalization, data mapping, and governance to ensure clean, accurate, and reconcilable asset data
  • Develop automation and custom scripts using PowerShell, Python, SQL, or equivalent languages
  • Partner with Flexera Professional Services during the implementation to validate requirements and support build-out activities
  • Support the creation of technical documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and administrative standards
  • Work closely with ITAM/SAM stakeholders to ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and alignment with compliance initiatives
  • Troubleshoot ingestion issues, integration failures, beacon connectivity, and cross-system data gaps
  • Provide early‑stage platform administration until internal teams transition into full ownership

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Flexera One
  • Strong technical expertise working with: Flexera One IT Visibility / Technology Intelligence Platform
  • Beacon deployment and agent configuration
  • ServiceNow CMDB integrations
  • Cloud connectors (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience supporting large-scale ITAM/SAM implementations and data governance programs
  • Solid understanding of data feeds, SaaS API connectors, consumption models, and normalization processes
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, SQL, Python, Bash, or similar)
  • Experience working with infrastructure teams (Windows/Linux servers, networking, cloud)
  • Ability to partner with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Finance, Security, and IT Operations
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • able to work with technical and non‑technical audiences

Nice to have:

  • Experience working directly with Flexera Professional Services during a deployment
  • Knowledge of ITAM/SAM principles, licensing models, and asset lifecycle workflows
  • Experience integrating ITAM platforms with ServiceNow, SCCM/Intune, JAMF, or other discovery tools
  • Familiarity with ITIL, Software Asset Management (SAM), or ITAM best practices
