You’ll be at the forefront of establishing critical partnerships and implementing best practices that safeguard our operations and enhance our reputation as a leader in safe, autonomous transportation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support and enhance our vehicle recovery program, including policy development, safety reviews, training, and direct operational support
  • Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with local law enforcement, fire departments, emergency medical services, and other essential emergency response organizations
  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions on the capabilities of our autonomous vehicles and critical safety protocols for emergency situations
  • Conduct thorough field investigations, meticulously document findings, and facilitate information requests to support law enforcement and our internal security, legal, and safety teams
  • Actively gather and synthesize feedback to drive continuous improvement in our autonomous vehicle technology and emergency response procedures
  • Review and refine internal policies and procedures to ensure unwavering compliance with applicable laws and leading safety best practices
  • Represent our organization at industry events and professional meetings, advocating for our safety mission and technological advancements

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of extensive experience in law enforcement, with a direct focus on traffic enforcement
  • Possession of ICS certification or advanced course completion with practical experience
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication, training, and relationship-building capabilities
  • An established, extensive network of law enforcement contacts
  • Proven experience in conducting technical investigations and effectively liaising with diverse external stakeholders
  • A deep understanding of safety best practices and protocols specifically for emergency scenarios
  • The ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Public Safety, Transportation, or Emergency Management, and/or certification in traffic safety or investigations
