Requirements

Ability to use a variety of inspection devices including micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, plug gages, thread gages, profilometer, toolmakers microscope and willingness to learn others as required
Ability to use a microscope for performing visual part inspection for extended periods of time
Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings/ blueprints
Ability to use personal computer for accessing instruction, inspection reports and creating records
Possess the skills necessary to communicate via English through writing and orally
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Must be able to work and be motivated to find solutions without direct supervision

Job Responsibility

Perform all Quality Technician functions including set-up, first article, in-process, visual and final inspections
Capture and record inspection results using a variety of inspection tools and supporting software applications
Interpret inspection results and provide to manufacturing personnel to assist in managing their processes
Complete customer specified documentation including set-up inspection reports, first article inspection reports, final inspection reports, and certifications
Other duties as assigned

Report employee health & safety issue or injury to respective department managers / supervisors &/or first aid attendant / workplace health & safety committee members
Take part in food safety system verification, process verification
Prepare foot bath sanitizer daily, and monitor chemical concentration regularly
Monitor temperature of thawed materials, storage, coolers & freezers and record results
Verify accuracy of production scales daily and other QC related monitoring equipment and record readings
Personal hygiene / GMP monitoring, record non-compliance

Daily Production Leadership (Coach Role): Lead daily engine build execution aligned to production & test plans and engineering priorities
Assign work based on technician skill level and build risk
Run start-of-shift standups covering safety, quality, cleanliness, build priorities, and updates
Quality & Process Ownership: Own first-time-through build quality at the engine level
Ensure strict adherence to build travelers, work instructions, torque, preload, alignment, and sealing specs
Lead immediate containment for assembly errors, fitment issues, or seal escapes
