A relevant degree or qualification in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety
Proven experience conducting fire risk assessments
Knowledge of fire safety applications such as Riskbase
Strong understanding of current fire safety regulations and legislation
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
A proactive approach and a commitment to achieving objectives
A full driving licence (travel to various client locations is required)

Job Responsibility

Conduct fire safety risk assessments in line with current regulations
Provide clear, actionable recommendations for remedial actions
Produce detailed fire safety reports for clients
Schedule and liaise with clients to arrange assessments and discuss findings
Deliver fire safety advice and training sessions for client employees
Stay updated on fire safety legislation and industry best practices
Attend client meetings and provide ongoing support as required

Familiarity with PAS 79 and BS 9999 standards
Membership with a recognised fire safety body (e.g., IFSM, IFE)
NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent qualification
Ideally Tier 2 registered and above
