Job Description:

The ideal candidate has more than 3 years of experience in similar roles within EPC contractors or engineering firms and is able to work effectively within multidisciplinary and structured engineering teams. He/she will be responsible for the fire safety strategy and execution, as well as the management of fire protection and detection within the energy-from-waste sector.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordination and preparation of conceptual and basic engineering, considering internal and external interfaces
  • Responsible for supplier selection, purchase order, and expediting during detail engineering
  • Active collaboration with layout engineering, and other engineering disciplines
  • Providing support during construction phase

Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree or technical apprenticeship
  • Experience with NFPA code
  • Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers and in procuring complex systems
  • Good knowledge of English
