Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated FinOps Solution Architect with a specialized focus on Digital Workspace and Client Services Infrastructure. This role is crucial for optimizing cloud spending, enhancing financial accountability, and fostering collaboration across engineering, finance, operations, and client services teams within our digital workspace environments.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and champion FinOps strategy and roadmap for digital workspace and client services infrastructure
Design and implement scalable FinOps frameworks and processes
Architect and oversee implementation of cloud cost visibility and optimization tools
Define cost reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and showback/chargeback mechanisms
Identify and drive cloud cost optimization opportunities
Establish and enforce cloud governance policies
Implement anomaly detection and alert systems
Act as subject matter expert and trusted advisor
Provide training and education on FinOps principles
Develop and deliver insightful reports and dashboards on cloud spending trends

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, Business, or related field
12+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, or operations
3-5 years focused on cloud financial management (FinOps)
Proven experience designing and implementing FinOps strategies in large-scale cloud environments
In-depth knowledge of at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Hands-on experience with digital workspace infrastructure technologies
Experience with FinOps tools and platforms
Strong understanding of financial concepts (budgeting, forecasting, ROI, TCO)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Certifications such as FinOps Certified Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation
Knowledge of agile methodologies

Nice to have:

Master's degree preferred
Certifications related to VDI/DaaS platforms (e.g., VMware VDI Virtualization)
