Job Description:

We are looking for a Financial Integration Specialist to join our team and work at the intersection of technology, financial markets, and client delivery. This person will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving integrations between Flanks’ platform, clients, and key third-party providers. This role is ideal for someone coming from a financial-technical background who understands market data, financial products, and integration workflows and who enjoys working directly with clients to translate needs into scalable, technical solutions.

Job Responsibility:

  • Review, refine, and optimize existing integrations between Flanks and external providers
  • Ensure ongoing accuracy, stability, and performance of integrations across multiple client environments
  • Identify inefficiencies or inconsistencies and propose scalable, robust improvements
  • Manage, analyze, and implement new integration needs requested by institutional clients
  • Collect and interpret client requirements, ensuring solutions are aligned with technical capabilities and product architecture
  • Coordinate with Product, Tech, and Client Delivery teams to ensure seamless rollout of new workflows
  • Act as the main point of contact for third-party data and service providers
  • Monitor provider performance and escalate issues when needed
  • Maintain strong relationships to ensure flawless data flows and integration reliability
  • Work closely with Engineering, Client Delivery, Product Management, and QA teams
  • Translate financial and operational requirements into clear technical specifications
  • Provide feedback to improve internal tools, documentation, and integration processes
  • Document integration procedures, technical learnings, and best practices
  • Contribute to internal standards that ensure consistency across client environments
  • Identify opportunities for automation and simplification of integration workflows

Requirements:

  • 2+ years working in financial markets, wealth management, or a related financial environment
  • Experience in client-facing roles involving technical or financial products
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases and data structures
  • Experience with web development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Understanding of APIs, data formats (JSON, XML), and integration workflows is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication and expectation-management skills
  • Ability to translate client needs into clear technical requirements
  • Problem-solving mindset with structured and analytical thinking
  • Capacity to work with demanding client profiles and navigate complex scenarios calmly
  • Fluent English and Spanish (C1 level or higher)
  • A third language is a plus
