Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a Financial Data Analyst to join a long-term project with a leading global financial technology organization. This role will focus on supporting a large-scale data initiative involving the review, interpretation, and categorization of financial communications and transactions to improve machine learning and AI-driven systems.

Job Responsibility:

Analyze and annotate financial communication data to identify intent and context
Support the development of AI models by providing high-quality, structured data inputs for training and testing
Extract and interpret data to identify patterns, anomalies, and key performance indicators
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Excel using pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and related functions
Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to refine tagging guidelines and improve overall model accuracy

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Solid understanding of financial markets and their dynamics
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas
Ability to analyze and interpret unstructured data effectively
Familiarity with financial software and tools
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and entry
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
