Financial Controller

• Own GAAP financial reporting, including month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement accuracy
• Build, document, and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies in preparation for public-company standards
• Oversee accounting for multiple entities, joint ventures, debt structures, and complex ownership arrangements
• Lead audit coordination and manage federal, state, and local tax compliance, including ASC 740 considerations
• Partner closely with operations, legal, and finance to evaluate new projects, investments, and cost drivers
• Drive IPO readiness efforts, including SOX controls, reporting processes, and coordination with external advisors

• 8–15+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Familiarity with IPO readiness, public traded reporting/regulation knowledge
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and public-company compliance requirements
• Hands on experience with consolidations, revenue recognition, federal, state, and sales tax
• Exposure to Joint Venture accounting
• Proven ability to build processes, improve systems, and scale an accounting function
• Comfortable operating as a hands-on leader in a growing, fast-paced organization
