Job Description:

The Financial Analyst – Expert will join the Finance Regulatory Reporting team within the CFO department to support the crucial Project Darwin initiative, which involves a system migration from legacy Capital Markets systems to a newer platform. This role requires a seasoned professional to act as a key liaison between Finance and IT, ensuring successful testing, reconciliation, and documentation prior to and immediately following the system Go-Live.

Job Responsibility:

  • Testing & Validation: Lead and assist on UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and PIV (Pre-Implementation Verification) activities leading up to the Go-Live date
  • Issue Resolution: Maintain the Platform/FRR issue tracker, coordinating directly with IT and FSS to ensure timely resolution of issues during and after testing
  • Reconciliation: Provide hands-on assistance with TM1 reconciliation, including the manual creation of disclosure documents for comparison with EPM data
  • Data Management: Assist with monthly and Go-Live submission uploads
  • Documentation & Controls: Create comprehensive documentation, including User Documentation, Technical Process documentation, and FRR documentation
  • Document the implementation of manual controls handled by the FRR team, including developing alternative approaches for noted issues
  • User Access: Maintain the user master file and monitor user lists, checking control points (e.g., ensuring submitter and approver are not the same person)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience successfully working on IT projects (managing projects, dealing with various stakeholders)
  • Experience with Financial Instruments and related data analysis
  • Proven ability in UAT Testing and verification processes
  • Essential System Knowledge: TM1 (or equivalent Enterprise Performance Management/EPM system) and PeopleSoft
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Soft Skills: Collaborative team player who can work independently
