Job Description:

The Fin Solutions Intmd. Analyst (C11) is a developing professional role that integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with industry standards and practices. The role requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, and developed communication skills to exchange potentially complex information. Responsibilities include contributing to financial solutions design and governance, assessing risk, and working autonomously with limited supervision. The candidate will participate in formulating strategic direction for Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations.

Job Responsibility:

Contributes to the design, roll-out and governance of financial solutions
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Has the ability to operate with limited supervision
Performs other duties and functions as assigned
Assists in the management of one or more processes, reports, procedures or products
Accountable for regular reporting or process administration as 'owner'
Implements work flow or process change and redesign
Identifies and resolves problems using autonomous judgment
Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory, and market information needs into finance processes and applications
Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies for global Finance processes
Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance
Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization, and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree
2-5+ years of experience
Proficient knowledge of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the goals of the area
Has working knowledge of industry practices and standards
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Transaction Testing
Data analysis and validation
Knowledge of BCBS 239 principles and regulatory reporting
Proficiency with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, etc.)
Understanding of financial transactions and reporting standards
Experience in regulatory compliance testing, particularly in financial institutions
Prior experience with BCBS 239 or similar regulations
Previous roles in quality assurance or financial reporting
Familiarity with transaction lifecycle and audit trails
