The Finance Reporting Intermediate Analyst / Finance Reporting Group Manager is an intermediate level position responsible for developing, maintaining business requirements and controls of regulatory reporting data hub (RDH)’s data lifecycle, date lineage, data quality scorecards and visualizations. Working closely with reporting owners and production team, to tracking and submission of data quality issues in coordination with the Finance Team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure data governance, data risk and control adherence Citi policies and standards. Ensure Data accuracy in financial reporting and statements in accordance with U.S. and local regulatory reporting guidelines.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance that aligns with organization and regulatory requirements
  • Lead the data analysis and accuracy impact submission of reports to various constituencies (SEC, Fed, OCC, local regulators etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting
  • Lead Data Governance, risk and control, policy, and standards
  • Drive progress and provide guidance for continue improvement of governance policies and best practices
  • Manage through complex, high quantity information to effectively solve problems
  • Develop and manage the implementation work flow or process change and redesign
  • Management of one or more RDH processes, reports, procedures, or products
  • Manage review and update data hub procedure manuals on regular basis
  • Establish business requirement documents, review test scripts, and interact with business partners to ensure successful migrations of key technology releases
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to articulate reporting data requirements to support data governance storylines
  • Analyze, investigate and present data usage and quality issues to stakeholders
  • Translating regulatory reporting requirements into business specification
  • Participate in special projects on continuous improvements on data cycle and data hub within the business team
  • Understanding of the overall regulatory environment and previous experience working with reporting data or automation project
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of previous experience required
  • Structured Query Language (SQL) and Python are required
  • Experience in data analytics, data models, dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Financial System experience preferred
  • Experiences with Transformation Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, KNIME or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting, finance and regulatory reporting preferred
  • Project Management Skills preferred
  • Critical Thinker, Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree in Finance, financial engineering, Math or Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
