Job Description:

As a Finance business process expert, you help shape the next generation of ASML’s finance processes. You will contribute directly to ASML’s mission by designing scalable, automated and future-proof service accounting flows that support global growth. In this role, you will work on the foundation in SAP S/4HANA and the finance data model, ensuring our systems and processes keep pace with ASML’s fast-expanding business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design and build end-to-end finance processes for SAP S/4HANA, with a strong focus on service accounting
  • Drive improvements in performance management using best practices in processes, data structures and technology
  • Work with finance teams, business process owners and business and IT architects to translate business needs into system designs
  • Lead and support adoption of new processes by explaining, testing and validating solutions with end users
  • Embed internal controls in process designs and support automation initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between finance processes, master data and the finance data model
  • Contribute expert knowledge during ERP migration activities and help shape future standards

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field
  • 8–10 years of experience in finance process design, service accounting or financial operations
  • Deep knowledge of SAP finance solutions (SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA)
  • Experience with complex business processes, preferably in the service order flows, contracts and billing domain
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as RPA
  • Experience with ERP migrations and finance transformation initiatives
  • Communicate complex finance and -system topics in a clear and structured way
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across finance, IT and business teams
  • Take ownership and lead decisions with confidence
  • Show a proactive and curious mindset, always seeking process improvements
  • Adapt quickly to change and guide others through transformation
  • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
