Job Description:

Finance Officer position at W Melbourne, part of Marriott International's luxury brands. The role involves financial record keeping, accuracy checking, cash management, and compliance with company policies in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
Organise, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents
Record, store, access, and/or analyse computerised financial information
Classify, code, and summarise numerical and financial data
Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports
Complete period-end closing procedures and reports
Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements
Follow-up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices
Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received
Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances
Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts
Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with Marriott International policies
