Job Description:

Lead strategic financial initiatives and influence key decisions at a dynamic, innovative e-commerce giant. This is an opportunity to work across retail and digital businesses. You will be a key member of the Books Finance team, partnering closely with business leadership to provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations.

Job Responsibility:

Lead strategic financial initiatives and influence key decisions
Provide strategic financial guidance and decision support to business partners
Lead key analytical projects influencing senior leadership decisions
Develop and refine financial models for forecasting existing and new products
Compile and review financial results and operational plans
Communicate financial results and recommendations to leadership
Invent, simplify, and automate management reporting

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field
7+ years of non-internship finance experience
Fluent in English (ability to lead conference calls and write business documents)
Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for forecasting and variance analysis
Ability to present complex quantitative data in a clear and concise manner
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL)
Experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
