We are excited to be on the hunt for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Finance Assistant, helping drive efficiency and accuracy across our accounts receivable processes. In this role, you will support the Finance team by managing accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate billing, timely cash collection, and effective follow up on outstanding balances to improve cash flow and reduce overdue invoices.
Job Responsibility:
Extract and review revenue data and issue sales invoices and credit notes accurately and on time
Monitor incoming payments, allocate receipts correctly, and reconcile customer accounts and balances
Follow up on overdue invoices, resolve payment discrepancies, and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and relevant financial regulations
Prepare documentation and provide support during internal and external audits
Assist the wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks and process improvements related to accounts receivable
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role
Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and financial controls
Hands on experience with Xero accounting software
Good working knowledge of MS Excel
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and manage a high volume of transactions
Strong communication skills for liaising with customers and internal stakeholders
Problem solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice to have:
Experience in the gaming or digital media industry
Familiarity with handling customer payments and wallet transactions
Knowledge of credit control best practices
Prior experience supporting audits and month-end/year-end closing processes
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
