We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Administrator to join a successful family business in Guildford! You will be joining the busy team supporting them with their main finance functions but also carrying out various other administration tasks!
Job Responsibility:
Managing sales and purchase ledgers and assisting with credit control
Processing payroll and performing monthly bank reconciliations
Supporting quarterly VAT return preparation
Handle customer service inquiries
Manage bookings for drivers (hotels, MOTs, services)
Support office tasks such as typing quotations and delivery notes
Requirements:
A passion for finance and be on their way to completing AAT qualifications
At least 2 years' office experience and confidence with Microsoft Excel
Clear communication skills and a proactive approach
Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
Experience with accounting software (e.g. Sage, VT) is a plus
Previous experience in a finance or administrative role within logistics is an advantage
Nice to have:
