I am seeking a Field Operations Technician to provide comprehensive end-user support across various operational activities, while also offering guidance to the Field Operations Team. Key responsibilities will include installing and maintaining personal computer hardware and software, using both hands-on and remote troubleshooting methods. The Technician will address a wide range of issues, including those related to desktops, laptops, networks, telecommunications, video conferencing, VoIP, mobile devices, and infrastructure, in both office and manufacturing environments.
Job Responsibility:
Install and configure personal computer systems for end-users
Manage the IT Incident queue, addressing Level I, II, and III technical issues as required
Identify, evaluate, and validate new hardware and software opportunities, with a focus on cost savings and company benefit
Utilize SCCM to install, configure, monitor, support, optimize, and administer its components
Maintain and support the Windows Active Directory domain, ensuring the security and availability of user logins, ACL permissions, Group Policies, and network printing, in line with corporate policies and requirements
Develop and maintain documentation for the company Knowledge Base, addressing both end-user and IT staff needs using effective communication methods
Provide on-site or remote desktop support to end-users
Requirements:
Minimum of four years relevant experience, supporting information systems operations
4+ Years’ experience in IT Relationship Customer Support
4+ Years desktop/laptop/mobility hardware maintenance, repair and troubleshooting
Strong root cause and trending identification skillset to implement solutions mitigating issues within the environment
Operational knowledge of Active Directory and Organizational Units
Understanding of networking principles
Must be able to communicate and work effectively with others in and outside of the IT department
