Job Description:

The Field Merchandising Manager supports pilots/testing activities, provides the local point of view to Hub leadership, advocates for the customer, supports marketing, leads the execution of national schematics efforts, coordinates with reset teams, owns product launches, supports local partners, fosters positive relationships, coaches and mentors staff, collaborates with Country and HUB activities, monitors local competitor retail, oversees store layouts, recommends changes in products, selects vendors, negotiates costs, increases sales revenues, establishes gross margins, projects sales, maintains vendor relations, and contributes to team effort.

Job Responsibility:

Supports pilots/testing activities
Provide the local point of view to Hub leadership
Be an advocate for the customer across the category
Supports marketing
Locally lead the execution of national schematics efforts
Coordinate with and manage reset teams
Own product launches locally
Support local partners and technical teams
Foster positive relationships between teams
Coaches and mentors Operational staff
Collaborate and support Country and HUB activities
Monitors local competitor retail
Oversees the local level of store layouts
Recommends changes in products, service and policy
Selects vendors, negotiates costs and terms
Increases sales revenues
Establishes and monitors gross margins
Projects and measures category sales and gross profit results
Maintains local external vendor relations
Contributes to team effort

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in advertising, business, or related field preferred
Five years of experience or more preferred in merchandising
Three years of management responsibility
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
Valid Driver’s License supported by a clean driving record
May require up to 60% travel
