Job Description:

The Field Food Service Specialist will supervise training and quality assurance efforts for foodservice operations at assigned Circle K stores. Responsibilities include conducting store visits, ensuring regulatory compliance, facilitating training, troubleshooting equipment issues, and collaborating with leadership teams to develop foodservice initiatives. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise training and educating store teams on food safety and quality assurance requirements
conduct store visits to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
supervise new store start-ups and remodels
troubleshoot equipment and process issues
collaborate with category managers and leadership teams to improve foodservice operations
coach and monitor under-performing stores
maintain a database of training sessions and visits
develop and facilitate training sessions
oversee new food service projects
perform monthly preventative maintenance tasks
calibrate dispensing machines
evaluate cleanliness and inventory levels in stores
address compliance violations immediately
complete detailed reports on store conditions

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred
ability to sit for long periods of time
ability to operate a computer keyboard and mouse for data entry
ability to lift up to 20 pounds
ability to reach forward and/or overhead
ability to work with minimum direction and periodic supervision
ability to hear and speak via telephone
knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) and HACCP regulatory requirements
