Job Description:

The Field Food Service Specialist will supervise and train store teams on food safety and quality assurance practices, oversee new store start-ups and remodels, ensure compliance with HACCP regulatory requirements, and address food service issues in real time. Responsibilities include maintaining a database of training sessions, facilitating training environments, monitoring underperforming stores, assessing cleanliness, and evaluating inventory and equipment performance.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise training and educate store teams on food safety and quality assurance
supervise new store start-ups and remodels
address issues in stores and provide real-time solutions
visit assigned stores on a set schedule for food safety assurance
conduct troubleshooting seminars
collaborate with category managers and store leadership
coach and monitor underperforming stores
oversee new food service projects
maintain a database of training sessions and visits
develop and facilitate training sessions
create a training environment empowering people to solve issues independently
lead training opportunities as needed
review food and beverage equipment and clean store areas
conduct monthly preventative maintenance tasks
review signage and promotional materials

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred
ability to sit for long periods
operate computer keyboard and mouse for data entry
view computer monitor
hear and speak via telephone
ability to reach forward and/or overhead
occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
able to work with minimum direction and periodic supervision

Nice to have:

Experience with food safety and quality assurance
ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues
familiarity with HACCP regulatory requirements
