Field Based Technical Support Specialist

• Manage IT installations, upgrades, rebuilds, and maintenance activities
• Act as 2nd line support to meet IT Service Level Fulfilment targets
• Perform daily tasks according to procedures, rules, and guidelines
• Provide technical training to end users and act as an IKEA Digital ambassador
• Ensure continuous uptime of onsite IT infrastructure
• Participate in global and local projects
• Solve and prioritize issues, escalating when necessary
• Respond to IT emergencies related to your unit
• Contribute to IT budget planning when required

• 1st/2nd Line Technical Support experience
• Curiosity-driven problem solver with analytical skills
• Effective communication skills for interacting with specialists, colleagues, and customers
• Motivated relationship-builder who establishes key connections
• Ability to work without close supervision, managing your workload effectively
• Practical experience with testing equipment and tools for maintaining data infrastructure
• Computer Networking Skills: LAN/WAN configurations, IP addressing, subnetting, and troubleshooting
• Security Awareness: Basic security practices to protect information
• In-depth understanding of Windows OS, Office 365, MS Teams, Chrome OS, and Active Directory
