Job Description:

Energetic and enthusiastic *Female Support Worker required for a delightful and bright eleven-year-old girl who has Cerebral Palsy. The support worker will be required to work with our client in a supportive role within the family home. Our client lives in the Holbeach area.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with an eleven-year-old girl who has Cerebral Palsy in a supportive role within the family home
  • Support the client with her OT, Physio and SALT programmes
  • Work closely with private treating therapists
  • Cover additional hours, annual leave and sickness
  • Attend therapy training

Requirements:

  • Energetic and enthusiastic
  • Flexible
  • Patient
  • Dynamic
  • Ideally experience of working with children with disabilities
  • Willing to undertake Care Certificate training if no NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Must be female (genuine occupational requirement)
  • Subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring

Nice to have:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience of working with children with disabilities
