Job Description:

As a Feller Buncher Operator at Ricci's Group of Companies, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a feller buncher to efficiently harvest timber. You are supported by a large experienced mechanical team and 24 hour support staff. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and a strong willingness to work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate feller buncher equipment to cut and gather trees for processing
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members and adhere to instructions from supervisors to meet production targets
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues on-site

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating feller buncher machines or similar heavy equipment
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety practices
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Nice to have:

  • Certification or training in operating feller bunchers
  • Organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines
