Job Description:

Our Factory Finance Manager is responsible for representing the Finance team in our factory: weekly and monthly reporting, product costing, financial control. The role also includes acting as Finance Business Partner for our teams which are based at the factory: Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering and Quality & Safety.

Job Responsibility:

  • Weekly reporting of factory P&L and KPIs
  • Perform monthly closure, forecast and budget
  • Support the annual audit
  • Maintain and develop the product costing model
  • Communicate and explain costing variances to stakeholders
  • Play an essential role in the implementation of new IT systems for inventory management
  • Maintain factory fixed asset register
  • Run business cases and financial analysis to evaluate factory Capex initiatives
  • Act as a connection between factory and head office, providing analysis with full visibility on all the levers of the COGS
  • Enforce and improve factory internal controls
  • Control/validate savings projects
  • Validate profit improvement projects

Requirements:

  • Qualified/part qualified accountant with 3 years+ practical manufacturing finance experience
  • Previous food production experience is key
  • Strong Excel skills, previous use of Xero and an inventory management system is preferable
  • A strong emphasis on accuracy and quality
  • Competent oral and written communication skills, with ability to evaluate queries and advise the teams in a timely and professional manner
