Job Description:

As a facility coordinator you will work within a team to support the goals of the Facilities Manager by ensuring standards of cleanliness and tidiness are maintained throughout the facility to ensure functionality, comfort, safety, and efficiency of the building environment. Ensure that all utilities are in good operating order to include electric, water, gas, HVAC, standby generator, and air compressor.

Job Responsibility:

  • Complete daily and any special tasks provided by the Facilities Manager
  • Maintains the operation of the facility on a regular weekday schedule as well as on call availability every other weekend
  • Conduct regular walk through of the facility to assist with visual maintenance and security
  • Maintain Breakroom and kitchenette consumables daily and any disinfecting stations throughout the facility
  • Make recommendations for improvements to the overall housekeeping functions for the facility
  • Serve as quality control for all staff providing housekeeping
  • Maintain supply levels of facilities supply closet
  • Help supervise any vendors and contractors in the completion of their assigned work orders to ensure a timely completion
  • Assist conference room host with functionality of AV/Teams equipment
  • Assist Security Officer’s with visitors to be signed in and or escorted through the facility or employee badge issues
  • Assist Security Officer in maintaining a safe environment for all staff, contractors, and visitors
  • Assist Human Resources Manager (TPO) on special tasks with direction and guidance provided from Facilities Manager
  • Assist with special projects and or events

Requirements:

  • Completion of High School or GED
  • Previous commercial facility experience, minimum 3 years
  • Comfortable user of MS Suite
  • Proficient with verbal and written communication dealing with internal as well as external clients
  • Mechanically inclined included basic hand tools
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 lb
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and stairs

Any certifications with HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing
